Divine Connections from God

Some time back, the Holy Spirit showed me what looked like silver and gold chain links in the spirit realm.

At first I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking at, but as the impression of what He was giving me continued to unfold in front of me, I realized He wasn't just showing me common chain links.

What He was showing me were divine connections from Him.

The silver and gold links represented those divine connections between the members of the Body of Christ.

The silver links represented those who would bring redemption, while the gold ones represented those who would bring God's powerful presence!

As I watched these links, more of them began to appear before me, and soon they overlaid a map of the whole world.

I watched these gold and silver chain links form a supernatural electrical current between them as they began to come together and stretch themselves all across the world.

Either a Redemptive Quality or a Divine Encounter Quality

The more that I watched, the more these chains of silver and gold began to encompass the world map in front of me!

When I asked the Holy Spirit what they were for, He said, "These silver and gold connections are those members of My Body who are led by My Spirit through radical obedience, who will come together and be joined by My Spirit supernaturally, who will have either a redemptive quality to them (evangelistic, pastoral, and teaching), or a divine encounter quality (prophetic or apostolic) to them. However, both chains will be joined together supernaturally by the power of the Holy Spirit in order to have a powerful impact upon the world around them."

The Electrical Current of the Holy Spirit

If a three-fold cord isn't easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12), then divine connections from God will become impenetrable in the spirit realm.

The electrical current that I saw was the leading of the Holy Spirit which was forming those connections between them so that they would come together in the way that He designed them to. (Photo via Unsplash)

Just as the bones came together in the Valley of Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37), so God is causing these supernatural connections to form between the members of His Body all across the world.

Together, they will bring the word of redemption through Jesus Christ—coupled with the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and His power—all around the world as they build up and edify each other in God's love (agape).

Anticipate Divine Appointments

If you're one of those people who has learned how to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit through radical obedience, you should anticipate the Holy Spirit bringing you these divine appointments with other people.

These divine appointments will become the silver or gold links that divinely connect you to others in the world.

As the Body begins to come together as a fixed abode for God in the spirit realm (Ephesians 2:22), we will begin to see the Lord's glory poured out as His Spirit begins to pour out upon all flesh (Joel 2:28)!

God is linking the Body together by the Holy Spirit as He sees fit, so look for God's breath to come upon those connections that He brings your way in this season.

Whether you're a silver or gold link, it doesn't matter, as long as His grace is upon you for the tasks ahead!
