My team and I have just returned from a wonderful ministry trip to the Philippines where we were serving the churches and the lost through teaching and preaching Christ and His Kingdom.

Many people were birthed into the Kingdom, and many leaders and Believers were also equipped and trained.

It was our joy and our privilege to serve in Asia, and we are looking forward to returning as the Lord leads.

An Outbreak of God's Glory over Singapore and Hong Kong!

As I prayed for Singapore, I perceived what looked like fireworks exploding over the nation of Singapore. It was a beautiful display of glory and color. As the sky lit up, I noticed that the mini explosions revealed the word "CHRIST."

People on the earth were looking up at the supernatural phenomenon of glory bursts in the sky. It was not only Believers, but non-believers too.

Glory was falling like rain from the heavens above.

As Christ's glory touched the people, spontaneous miracles, signs, and wonders were happening. There were salvations, healings and deliverances, and families were being reconciled as the love and power of God was being poured upon His precious people in Singapore. (Photo via Rawpixel)

I perceive that a season of a glory outpouring is coming upon the nation of Singapore. CHRIST AND HIS KINGDOM WILL BE REVEALED to birth many souls into the Kingdom of God, and to disciple them to maturity as sons of God in preaching and in teaching; in demonstrating God's love, compassion, mercy, power, and grace.

God is going to birth Kingdom movements in and through Singapore that will affect the destiny of Asia.

Business men and women will be equipped and mentored just like Paul mentored Priscilla and Aquila, who in turn mentored Apollos in the revelation of Christ (see Acts chapter 18).

Hong Kong is also going to experience an almost simultaneous outbreak of glory, which will manifest initially in the marketplace.

Christ will be at the epicenter of this Kingdom revolution brought about by the revelation of Christ.

God has heard the prayers of His people in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The New Testament Church – A Glimpse into What Is Coming

Throughout the New Testament, we can see how the burgeoning Church and the APOSTOLIC COMPANY placed a massive emphasis on preaching and teaching Jesus as the Christ... every single day!

And every time they preached and taught Jesus as the Christ, there were glory outpourings, thousands got born again, the lame were healed, miracles happened, apostles got arrested, angels carried out jail breaks, the Church prayed mightily, Stephen was martyred, the Church was persecuted, Heaven was opened, Christ was glorified... and much, much more!

Every single day, in public and in private, the apostles and the Believers were teaching and preaching that Jesus is the Christ.

We find many other examples of the primacy of preaching and teaching Jesus as the Christ.

The following are several such accounts:

1. The apostle Peter preached Jesus as the Christ on the day of Pentecost, and 3,000 Jews were born into the Kingdom of God that same day (Acts 2:1-41). (Photo via Public Domain)

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ." (Acts 2:36 KJV)

The high priest was bewildered by it all and said, "...Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye [the apostles] have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine [the doctrine of Christ], and intend to bring this man's blood upon us." (Acts 5:28, emphasis mine)

But Peter and the other apostles responded and said, "...We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29 KJV). And they kept on preaching Jesus as the Christ.

3. When persecution broke upon the Church (prior to Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus), the Church was scattered, but the apostles remained in Jerusalem. "Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ [Jesus as the Christ] unto them" (Acts 8:5 KJV, emphasis mine).

The people of Samaria, with one accord, received the preaching of this young usher! One young man turned the city upside down because he preached Jesus as the Christ, and many miracles, salvations and deliverances happened. And Philip's preaching Christ to the Ethiopian eunuch resulted in the Gospel being taken to Africa!

4. Almost immediately after Saul was converted, after he had received his sight and was baptized, Paul wasted not a single second and went into the synagogues and began to preach that Jesus was the Christ.

"And straightway he [Saul] preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. (Acts 9:20 KJV, emphasis mine)

That night, Saul's fellow disciples helped him escaped the Jews who wanted to kill him by letting him down through a wall of the city in a basket!

5. In Acts chapter 10, the apostle Peter preached Jesus as the Christ at the home of Cornelius, and the Gentiles received the Holy Spirit for the first time.

"And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To Him [Christ] give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.

"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word." (Acts 10:42-44, emphasis mine)

6. In Acts 17:2-3, when Paul went to Thessalonica with Silas, we read, "...and Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures, opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ" (KJV). 7. In Acts 18:5, when Paul was in Corinth (whilst mentoring Priscilla and Aquila), it says, "And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ" (KJV).

Paul was afraid of being stoned again. He had almost died at Lystra not so long before (Acts 14:19-23), after revival began to break out in Corinth as a result of his preaching Christ. God spoke to Paul in a dream and reassured His servant. This resulted in Paul staying for a full year and a half in Corinth, whilst untold miracles, salvations and wonders ensued through His preaching and teaching Christ (Acts 18:11).

Blueprints for the Church in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the World!

I am sharing these few Scriptures to show us how Christ is mightily revealed by the New Testament Church, and how it led to an explosion in Church growth, discipleship, and freedom for all who believed on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

These are scriptural models and blueprints not only for the first century Church, but for our churches today, and for Singapore and Hong Kong!

The Kingdom of God is advancing through the revelation of Christ and His Kingdom. We are to know Christ and to make Christ known.

In our day, so many in churches have only known Jesus as Savior but have not known Jesus as the Christ, the Word eternal, the Son of God, our Lord! To know Him as Christ the Messiah and Lord is to know His position as the only-begotten Son of the Father. When we know His position, we come to know our own position as sons of God.

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12 KJV)

The Word was made flesh (John 1:14) to take the Church back to her true spiritual foundation, and that we might be restored again in our position as sons of God through Christ. Hallelujah to the Lamb who was slain "from the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8)!
